Short description

Oven baked chicken, covered with mayonnaise and onion soup mix.


Ingredients

1.5 kg (3.3 lb)chicken
1 packageKnorr onion soup mix
3 tablespoonsmayonnaise
 juice of half a lemon

Preparation

Clean the chicken, cut it in the joints and leave it immersed in water with lemon for about 10 minutes. Then remove it from water and drain well.

Grease a Pyrex dish with margarine and fill it with the chicken pieces, each one well covered with mayonnaise on all sides. Now sprinkle the contents of the oninon soup mix on top.

Bring to a pre-heated oven (200 C/375 F/British Gas Mark 5) and bake for 40 minutes.
